Our mother company, Van den Bos is growing Freesia corms in New Zealand to provide fresh quality Freesia corms starting August 2012. Last week, our Freesia expert visited the Freesia fields in New-Zealand. The crops are looking great, weather conditions are very good and the roots are snow white and core sound. The growing will continue for the next couple of months in good condition.
From April 2012 the Freesia bulbs will be harvested, cleaned and sorted. The first containers will arrive in Holland in June 2012. Van den Bos will prepare the new fresh harvested stocks very carefully resulting in new top quality Freesia at the end of August 2012! Read more »
